Restro Spots respects the intellectual property of others. We follow the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and will respond to valid notices of claimed infringement.
How to send a notice
Email your notice to [email protected] with the subject line "DMCA Notice" and include:
- Your name, address, phone number and email address
- A description of the copyrighted work or trademark you believe is being infringed
- The exact page link (URL) on our site where the material appears
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner
- Your physical or electronic signature
Restaurant owners who simply want a photo, detail or the whole page removed do not need a formal DMCA notice. A short email from an address connected to the restaurant is enough.
What happens next
When we receive a complete notice, we will review it and, where appropriate, remove or disable the material, usually within a few business days.
Counter-notice
If you believe material was removed by mistake, you may send a counter-notice to the same email with your contact details, the removed material and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury that it was removed by mistake, and your signature.
Misrepresentation
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly makes a false claim of infringement may be liable for damages.
For other questions, see our contact page or Terms of Use.
